Title: Can you tell I'm excited?

WOW!!! What a difference God makes in a person's life. It's unbelievable!!! To look back at my life 10-15 years ago and to see where it was going, it's really scary. But to look at it now, I'm so very thankful and greatly rejoice. Thank you God!!! I want to thank everyone for the hugs and the congrats that you gave Sheila and I Sunday. Thank you elders for the kinds words that were spoken about us. Thanks for including us in your prayers and please don't stop lifting up our youth group to God on a daily basis!

I would like to meet with the parents of the high school group (grades 8-12) after the service this coming Sunday night, August 16th in the basement. I will try to keep the meeting brief, I promise! I have a lot of ideas and goals for this group and would like your input and wisdom. Also, we have a devotional scheduled for the high school group (grades 8-12) after the service on Sunday night, August 23rd. If anyone would like to host this devo, it would be greatly appreciated. That spot just so happened to become available, ha ha! We also have a devo scheduled for the 3rd grade - 7th grade for the same Sunday night, August 23rd during the evening worship. Everyone in this group invite a friend to come be with us!

I tip my hat to Johnathan Horner who had the courage to walk down that aisle Sunday night asking for the prayers of the congregation. I think Johnathan's actions is a reminder to all of us that we have help 24-7 from God Almighty ..... all we have to do is make the first step and ASK! God bless you Johnathan Horner ..... I'm very proud of you and look forward to seeing more of you in the future.

Sheila and I have a lot of things planned for the upcoming months ..... don't miss out on any of these! Come to church ..... come to Bible classes both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening ..... and be sure to come to the devos! We are gonna learn about God and have fun too. It doesn't get any better than that!

Also, just a reminder that Fairfield Church of Christ is scheduled to go do the worship services at the county jail on August 23rd after Sunday morning Bible classes. If there is anyone who would like to be a part of this uplifting experience, please be sure to see Gary Basford or myself. I promise, you won't be sorry you went!

TGIF (Thank God I'm Forgiven) - Rodney

(editorial) - For those of you not aware, Rodney Rochelle was introduced by the elders Sunday morning as Fairfield's new youth minster ..... The above article written by Rodney had about 10 exclamation points after each sentence, but my exclamation button on my keyboard started smoking after the first paragraph so I had to limit them through the rest of the article ..... needless to say, Rodney and Sheila are as excited as we are!!!! I did save a few for that last thought :) DP
